SUPERHERO’S in REAL LIFE SCENARIOS

But my favourite among them is the work of Agan Harahap,  an Indonesian image blender who has photoshopped the superheroes into real-time historical moments; creating an amalgamation of cool superheroes and real-life villains, revolutionaries and war.

Captain America at a Camp Near Minsk 1941 with Heinrich Himmler who inspects a prisoner-of-war camp in Russia.

Spider Man - U.S. soldiers engaged in street fighting, avenue de Paris, Cherbourg-Normandy 1944

Darth Vader in Conference of the Big Three at Yalta makes final plans for the defeat of Germany. Here the Big Three sit on the patio together, Prime Minister Winston S. Churchill, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Premier Josef Stalin. February 1945.

Superman recovering the Stolen Art at Neuschwanstein Castle, 1945. Soldiers from the 7th US Army carry the priceless artworks down the steps of Meunschwanstein Castle where hoards of European art treasures, stolen by the Nazis, were hidden during World War II.
