H&M back to its Swedish roots

2 Feb

Well!! H&M has finally decided to collaborate with Swedish Hasbeens, a cult shoe brand that uses handcrafted technique and environmentally friendly methods. Hasbeens makes shoes out of wood and the leather with a genuine handcrafted leather finish, something traditional and contemporary at the same time. It will seem to fit perfectly well in H&M’s SS11’s bohemian look.

Lately, H&M has also stocked ‘H&M Waste Collection’ made out of waste fabrics but there’s no saying that how far this will prove useful. Fast fashion and eco-friendly don’t go hand-in-hand, its quite contradictory. Like the brand Hasbeen, I hope this collaboration will go larger than themselves in actually doing some good to the society by contributing part of the money to some good cause.
